This is based on an incident (if you can describe it as such) that occurred when my family and I were on holiday many years ago now.
It was hot, one of my sons was getting bothered and started to bicker with his Mum. Suddenly he barks “Right thats it” and starts off across the beach to goodness knows where. After about twenty yards of a very proper march he stops, stares at the horizon for a moment with his shoulders squared then lies down with his back to us all.
15 minutes later up he gets, brushes the sand of himself and walks back to us as if nothing had happened. What a beautiful and so very dignified way to express rage.
