A pretty obvious theme. The picture is loosely based on the Eagle nebula.
Its significance for me is, it is my first attempt at computer graphics. It is not a cut and paste job I hasten to add. Every single pixel in this piece has been laboriously created with an electronic paintbrush. It was an effort I can tell you. My shoulder and eyesight have suffered the consequences but I am pleased with the result.
There is an irony to the piece it was chosen by an Art Society as a representative work. They have however a strict policy of prohibiting prints. This is a purely electronic piece so hard copies can only ever by definition be prints….Ta dah.
